Executive Producer, Andrea Fleischer is an award-winning video producer and former on-air reporter with more than 20 years experience in broadcasting. She also creates projects for non-profits and has worked as a media coach and consultant.
Andrea's work has aired nationally on ABC News 20/20 and World News Tonight, in addition to PBS, NBC, CBS, CNBC, OWN, Investigation Discovery, and The Weather Channel. She received an Emmy award for a documentary on aging in America, a Prism Award for an ABC News special on women and smoking, and two national Emmy nominations for Outstanding Investigative Reporting of a Business News Story.
As a staff and freelance producer for the major networks, Andrea covered stories on most every topic imaginable, from medicine and science to human interest profiles and powerful tales of survival. While at ABC News, she was the medical producer for Dr. Nancy Snyderman and created multiple episodes for the ABC News series Primetime Medical Mysteries.
Earlier in her career Andrea appeared on-camera as a reporter for CNN and was the Capitol Hill and White House correspondent for the Cox-owned television stations.
As Director of Special Media Placement at Columbia University Medical Center, Andrea put her broadcasting experience to work gaining national exposure for CUMC stories in major media outlets and providing on-camera coaching to its esteemed medical and scientific faculty.
Recent projects include a training series on a research-based intervention for teenagers who have suffered early trauma for TCU’s Institute of Child Development, a video promoting business as an agent of world benefit for Case Western University’s Weatherhead School of Management, and a profile on a New York City painter.
Andrea loves putting her creative energy to work on an eclectic mix of projects.
